Gather Signatures, Sign Petition to Save State Parks
Thank you to the California residents who have volunteered to gather signatures to put a California State Parks funding proposal on the 2010 ballot. Save the Redwoods League and partners are organizing volunteers to gather about 700,000 Californians’ signatures by April 16, 2010. We need more volunteers! Starting with this issue, you will receive Redwood Matters on the second and fourth Mondays of the month instead of the previous monthly delivery. This shorter format makes it quicker and easier for you to keep up on the latest redwoods-related issues. Look for the favorite hike on the second Monday of the month and Did You Know facts and Redwoods Memories on the fourth Monday.
