Video: Quick tour of Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve

Get to know the centerpiece of the League's Montgomery Woods Initiative

Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve is an incredible landscape of old-growth coast redwoods, blankets of green ferns, and bubbling streams. It’s like being in a whole different world. It’s also the centerpiece of the League’s Montgomery Woods Initiative, where the organization is building a protected forest around the reserve, enhancing the park itself, and restoring the forest. All of this is being done in close partnership with California State Parks.

Would be helpful to know where Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve is located. The visuals show us that the trees are impressive and the location is awesome. Harness the audio track to to do more than describe what we’re seeing. Consider giving the viewer a bit of history or additional context about the reserve.
