Participants in the team competition for the League’s Take Me to the Trees: A Benefit for the Montgomery Woods Initiative have an incredible set of prizes awaiting them if they come out on top.

Proceeds from Take Me to the Trees benefit the League’s Montgomery Woods Initiative: Raising funds to protect Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve by acquiring key properties to expand the park and safeguard critical wildlife corridors, restore the old growth grove of ancient redwoods, and connect people to this hidden gem by improving park infrastructure and enhancing public outreach.

YOUR EPIC REDWOOD ADVENTURE: EXPLORING THE NORTH COAST AND SMITH RIVER

A private estate on the banks of the Smith River, surrounded by the splendor of Redwood National and State Parks, will be the home base for you and your teammates. AN EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE AT MONTGOMERY WOODS STATE NATURAL RESERVE

Experience the breathtaking beauty of the ancient redwood forest at Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve and learn about the Montgomery Woods Initiative. You and your teammates (total of 10) will be driven in a luxury Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van from San Francisco with a lunch stop at the popular Ukiah “farm to fork” restaurant Cultivo. At the Reserve, you will be led on a private hike through the fairy wonderland that is Montgomery Woods. Then settle into the plush comfort of the Sprinter van for the relaxing drive back to San Francisco with complimentary Sonoma county wines and culinary delights.
