Description: Have you ever wondered about those pretty rocks and minerals you see on the beach? This talk by California State Parks volunteer naturalist Jim Webb will answer some basic questions about the types of rocks and minerals that are found on local beaches, how these rocks and minerals are formed and where they came from, and provide some basic information about the local geology of Redwood National and State Parks. Gold Bluffs Beach will be the focus of the presentation.
