Learning From Giants: Measuring Sequoia Trees

July 23, 2016

As part of Latino Consrvation Week (July 16-24), you can join in collecting scientific data on our amazing Sequoias in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. You will work with a park scientist to measure the diameter of some of our incredible sequoias as well as learn about their ecology. Please make sure to wear comfortable sneakers or hiking boots, a bottle of water and a scientific curiosity!
