Join a ranger on a quiet walk in the coolness of a Sierra mountain evening. What might you see or hear, as you meander through sequoias and other beautiful trees? Dress in layers and bring a flashlight if you’d like to keep hiking after sunset. Bring water and wear insect repellent. Trekking poles are recommended. Program is recommended for ages 10 and up.
Program is FREE, but reservations are required; limit of 30 participants with a 2 person minimum. Sign up at the Kings Canyon Visitor Center or call (559) 565-4307.
Meet at the North Grove trailhead, near the Grant Tree parking area. This walk is not accessible. There are uneven trail conditions and some elevation gain. 2 hours, 1 ½ mile walk, moderate, 400′ elevation gain
