On the day after Thanksgiving, Save the Redwoods League, California State Parks Foundation and California State Parks invited everyone to bring their friends and families to explore a beautiful state park.

Thanksgiving is about spending time with friends and family, and appreciating our many shared blessings. State parks are uniquely suited for both! Experience joy, renewal and inspiration among our natural wonders.

Free day-use parking passes were sponsored by Save the Redwoods League and California State Parks Foundation.

Save the Redwoods League protects and restores redwood forests and connects people to their peace and beauty. We’ve saved nearly 200,000 acres of redwood forests from logging and other threats since 1918. These redwoods are now protected forever in 66 parks and reserves in California. Save the Redwoods League is a non-profit generously supported by nearly 18,000 members.
