Run and roll through redwood country in two events that Save the Redwoods League is sponsoring:

Sunday, May 2, 2010, Avenue of the Giants Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10K. This Boston-Marathon qualifier runs along The Avenue of the Giants in spectacular Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Visit the League’s booth May 1 and 2 at the staging area just north of the Dyerville Bridge along the Eel River. Learn more.

Saturday, May 8, 2010, Tour of the Unknown Coast. Billed as the “toughest century in the state,” this 10-200-mile bicycle tour attracts about 2,500 riders and spectators to the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in Ferndale. Visit the League’s booth May 7 and 8 at the Fairgrounds. The first four people to e-mail their mailing addresses to will receive free Tour of the Unknown Coast registrations! Tour information.

Don’t forget to also check out the League’s booth at this year’s May Day in the Redwoods, hosted by Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods on May 1, 2010.
