Parks Ballot Initiative Exceeds Signature Goal!
We did it! Thanks in part to our members and partners, 760,000 signatures were collected to put a measure on the November 2010 ballot that would keep our chronically underfunded California state parks open and create a stable, adequate funding source to protect parks and wildlife. These parks include many redwood parks that Save the Redwoods League members helped create. The number of signatures collected is nearly double what was required.
