Your generous support has enabled us to discover amazing things that will help us protect the redwood forest amid rapid climate change! Initial findings of the League’s Redwoods and Climate Change Initiative (RCCI) were released today. Findings of the RCCI’s leading scientists include that ancient coast redwood forests can store at least three times more carbon aboveground than nonredwood forests worldwide. See the other discoveries.
Your Save the Redwoods League Summer Bulletin ’13 newsletter shows how you can help create a trail in paradise through the magical Shady Dell forest (pictured). You’ll also see the impact of your League support and how your gifts protect redwood forestland, clean water, wildlife, recreation and scenery. Tell us what you think of this edition in a short survey, and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win a new Save the Redwoods League insulated lunch bag. Your responses will help us improve our publications. Thank you!
