We’re thrilled to announce that the League has secured an agreement to acquire the 394-acre Russian River Redwoods in Sonoma County. The deal will ensure long-term protection for the beloved, ancient Clar Tree, and 1 mile of Russian River frontage near Guerneville.

Emergency restoration resumes in a famed giant sequoia grove

The League recently restarted emergency restoration work in a popular giant sequoia grove to reduce fuels and the risk of severe climate-driven wildfires. In partnership with the USDA Forest Service, the League is restoring the 568-acre Long Meadow Grove, home to the famed Trail of 100 Giants.
