@savetheredwoods   Big moment on the Prairie Creek Restoration Project last week, as the crews removed the dam that had been diverting the water flow as extensive restoration was conducted downstream. With all that done, the crew pulled the dam and now the creek is flowing as it should. Salmon and other fish can now enjoy their new home.

The crew member in the video is Aaron Martin, habitat restoration biologist with the Yurok Tribal Fisheries Program. Unfortunately didn't get the name of the operator from the Yurok Tribe Construction Corporation driving the machine. Can’t say enough about the crew on this project. Super professional and knowledgeable.

Big thanks to the partnership that is working with the League to move this restoration of Prairie Creek forward, including the organizations mentioned above as well as @caltrout, @theyuroktribe, @noaafisheries, @ca_coastal, @redwoodnps, and many more.
