Now that the spring is upon us, we are hoping volunteers can help us get the League Ventana Post Creek property ready for transfer as an addition to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park.

Please join Save-the-Redwoods League and the State Parks volunteer program on Saturday, March 3rd, rain or shine, for a day of restoration at the League Ventana Post Creek property. We will be removing invasive plants such as French broom, cleaning up garbage, and setting posts for State Park signs at entry points into the property.

We will meet at the gate into the property owned by Save-the-Redwoods League, which is directly across the street from the Big Sur Bakery, and will work our way down the road to Post Creek. Lunch and refreshments will be provided to reward your hard work.

Saturday March 3, 2007, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., with lunch and refreshments provided. Camping sites available for volunteers at Pfeiffer Big Sur Campground.

WHAT:

Help Save-the-Redwoods League and State Parks restore the redwood forest by removing invasive French broom, cleaning up debris, and setting posts for future signs.
