For 25 years, Oracle has supported Save the Redwoods, playing a vital role in advancing redwood conservation across both the coast redwood and giant sequoia ranges. Oracle’s longtime funding has included major efforts to acquire, protect, and steward key redwood lands, as well as investment in environmental education and nature-based programs for students facing barriers to accessing the outdoors. Most recently, Oracle has supported Save the Redwoods and its partners in restoring thousands of acres of formerly clearcut forestlands on California’s iconic North Coast, home to the largest, most spectacular trees on Earth. Rooted in shared values of conservation and stewardship, Oracle and Save the Redwoods are building a lasting legacy for California’s redwood forests.
Save the Redwoods has proudly partnered with the San Francisco 49ers since 2023. Through this collaboration, the 49ers have supported Save the Redwoods’ conservation work by mobilizing corporate partners, engaging volunteers, and elevating awareness of the role redwood forests play in climate resilience, clean air and water, and wildlife habitat.
A central piece of this partnership is the 49ers’ Faithful to the Planet initiative, through which Save the Redwoods has been selected as one of just three conservation beneficiaries. Support from the initiative has helped restore and protect key redwood forests, strengthening the health and resilience of these critical ecosystems.
Beyond conservation funding, the 49ers have partnered with Save the Redwoods on hands‑on volunteer days in redwood parks, including at Muir Woods National Monument, and have been long‑time supporters of the Save the Redwoods’s Take Me to the Trees signature event through donated memorabilia and fan experiences.
“The San Francisco 49ers are proud to team up with Save the Redwoods to protect and restore the redwood forests that define our shared backyard—Northern California. Together, we’re engaging our partners, fans, and community in meaningful and sustainable conservation efforts that strengthen forest and climate resilience while creating lasting benefits for future generations.”
