100 Parks for 100 Years on October 13

To celebrate its 100th birthday during October, Save the Redwoods League invites everyone to #Stand4Redwoods and visit one of the 100+ redwood parks across California — for free! That’s 100 parks for 100 years. This expanded “birthday edition” of our Second Saturdays program will take place in October only. The October free entrance day is Saturday, October 13th, but you must first download your pass starting at 8 a.m. on September 26th, 2018

We are partnering with 25 national, state, regional, county, and local agencies to make this happen as one exciting part of our big Celebration Week.

Why? Because you only turn 100 once!

From Big Sur to Crescent City to Montgomery Woods to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. There are parks of all sizes with all kinds of opportunities for recreation and relaxation. The passes cover day-use admission and parking fees to those parks where there are usually entrance fees. Passes for October 13 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We invite you to stand under the world’s tallest forms of life – the most powerful forests in the fight against climate change – and learn why we are working so hard to protect and restore California’s iconic forests.

Will you be out in the redwoods on October 13? Show us the redwoods you see. #Stand4Redwoods with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
