Education

"In the end, we conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught."
- Baba Dioum, Senegalese conservationist and poet

Our Education Program seeks to encourage more people of diverse backgrounds to demonstrate their desire to protect our unique redwood forest ecosystems. We help connect people of all ages to these majestic trees through this Web site, the many place-based programs we sponsor, and our outreach efforts.
