The Council is the League’s voting membership and is made up of volunteer leaders who offer strategic leadership to the League and serve on its committees, task forces and work groups. Our Councilors reflect a wide array of people who are passionate about and committed to the redwoods and the League’s mission and vision. The Council elects its members and, from its membership, the League’s volunteer Board of Directors.
The League’s Board of Directors is a group of volunteer leaders who bring a variety of talents, experiences and expertise. The Board sets policy, elects officers, and approves the budget and all land purchases.
