Volunteer Opportunities
The following is a list of current volunteer opportunities at Save-the-Redwoods
League. If you have skills that you would like to share or develop which
would not be put to use by any of the opportunities below, we would be
happy to meet with you to discuss the ways in which you could contribute
your time and talents to the League.
Filing - This project consists of filing, organizing and indexing
existing files. If comfortable with computers, duties would also include
indexing files on a shared drive. Microsoft Access skills are helpful
but not required.
Data Entry - Enter information onto our database, prepare mail
merge documents, and stuff envelopes. Raiser's Edge skills are helpful
but not required.
Internet Research Help the development team gather information
on potential grants.
News clippings - Clip articles that have been identified of interest
to the League. These articles are circulated to staff and Board.
Library - Gather more complete bibliography information for our
library database, make labels, and rearrange by the author's last name.
Microsoft Access skills are helpful but not required.
This list is not restrictive; please contact
the office with any special talents you would like to share!
