Celebrate Latino Conservation Week!

An initiative of Hispanic Access (external link), a national nonprofit that works to connect Latinos with partners and opportunities to create a more equitable society.

Latino Conservation Week (external link) is national week of activities from July 14 through July 22 that shine a spotlight on the Latino community’s strong conservation values and provide access for Latinos (and others) to get outdoors to enjoy and learn about how to protect our natural resources.

Join us on July 14, 2018!

Experience the World’s Tallest Trees at Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve alongside one of our Interpretative guide. Talk and tour are free and open to the public.

Bilingual Talks & Tours

  • Learn about creatures who rely on old growth redwoods, fire in the forest, and much more!
  • Meet at 10am at the two-mile-long loop trail.
  • Join us for an easy, two-mile guided hike in this redwood forest.
  • Please bring water and wear appropriate shoes and clothing.

Meditation and massage:

-After our walk, we will have a meditation session and massage by Rockstar Reiki & Massage (external link).

Raffle!

We will be doing a raffle of really cool stuff for participants.
