Fall Birding Loch Walk

Join Santa Cruz Water Department staff for a free walk and birding talk at Loch Lomond Recreation Area on Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event allows the general public access to the recreation after our fall closure. Fall is a beautiful time of year in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and the wildlife comes back into the recreation area after a long summer of human activity. The location of Loch Lomond Reservoir on the Pacific Flyway Makes it an ideal stop for migration song birds and water fowl, some of which spend the whole winter here.
