Located in the southern portion of Yosemite, the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is the largest sequoia grove in Yosemite and is home to over 500 mature giant sequoias.
Over the last decade, extreme wildfires have killed nearly 20% of California’s giant sequoias. Learn how Save the Redwoods League and other partners of the Giant Sequoia Lands Coalition are working to study, protect, and steward these groves.
