Description: California State Parks invites volunteers of all ages to an English ivy pulling party in the beautiful Sitka spruce forest. All participants will receive one free day use pass to Patrick’s Point State Park! Meet at the Patrick’s Point Visitor Center at 9 am. Pulling English ivy is a moderate activity and visitors are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes for walking off trail (work locations are less than 1/2-mile from the trailhead), a hat, and water. Work gloves and tools are available for volunteers to borrow.
