Redwoods and Climate Change Speaker Series: Marie Antoine and Allyson Carroll

Week 1 Topic: Marie’s talk will teach us about terrestrial and epiphytic plant diversity in coast redwoods, while Allyson will share with us her experience with cross-dating coast redwood growth rings for generating chronologies across its native range.
Redwoods and Climate Change Initiative (RCCI) Speaker Series. Phase 3 of our Redwoods and Climate Change Initiative was completed in 2021, and the research group has been busy publishing the results this year. These talks will cover the findings from RCCI 3 as well as give an update on the status of the entire RCCI plot network in both the coast redwood and giant sequoia ranges. This speaker series will include one talk a week during lunchtime (12-1:30pm), beginning in January and going through the first week of February, held on zoom. Outlook invitations have been sent, and Zoom links are added as the event approaches.
