Roy’s Redwoods Field Day

Bring the whole family for a field day at Roy’s Redwoods Open Space Preserve!

Learn from experts about the preserve’s unique hydrology, and possibilities for restoring Larsen Creek, which runs through it.

Hear a ranger-led talk about redwood forest ecology and old growth trees.

Meet the One Tam team that is exploring opportunities to improve the visitor experience and ecological health of the Preserve, and tell them what you love about Roy’s!

WHERE: Roy’s Redwoods Open Space Preserve

MEETING LOCATION: We’ll be gathering at the redwood tree fairy ring at the end of the Meadow Trail and at 2 p.m. our speakers will lead a hike through the redwood grove. The Meadow Trail starts at the Roy’s Redwoods trailhead on Nicasio Valley Rd. (approximately 0.5 mile from Sir Francis Drake Blvd.).
