Sempervirens Fund: Dirt, Sweat, & Beers with REI Workday

FreeHelp Clear Invasive Plants and Have a Beer with Sempervirens Fund, REI, and Sufferfest Beer Co.!
When: Saturday, June 15, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Robert C. Kirkwood Entrance at Castle Rock State Park, 15451 Skyline Blvd, Los Gatos, CA 95033
What: In collaboration with REI and Sufferfest Beer Company, join us in removing French broom, Bermuda grass, and yellow star thistle throughout the area. After all your hard work, wrap up the day with a nice cold beer!

Sign Up: Registration is free; please sign up on REI’s website.
Activities: Participants will pull invasive weeds by hand or using basic hand tools. Work will be moderately strenuous and may take place on sloped and uneven terrain. All tools, gloves, and gear will be provided by Sempervirens Fund, but if you have your own equipment we suggest bringing it along. We recommend wearing long-sleeved shirts, pants, and durable hiking shoes. Please bring your own lunch and plenty of water. Some snacks and beverages will be provided.
