Stand for the Redwoods Festival in Humboldt County

Centennial Celebration Week starts with the Stand for the Redwoods Festival in Humboldt County in the town of Orick, California on Sunday, October 7 from noon to 4:00 p.m.

This family-friendly festival is at the gateway to Redwood National and State Parks, home of the world’s tallest forest. The festival will honor the League’s Centennial and the 50th anniversary of Redwood National Park. It offers live music, children’s activities, local food trucks, a beer garden sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Brewery and a wine garden sponsored by Barefoot Cellars, and a variety of other features. The festival is free, and it is sponsored by Save the Redwoods League, the National Parks Service, and the Redwood Parks Conservancy. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
