Redwood Hike Series: Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park*

Join us as we hike to the famous Fern Canyon via the James Irvine Trail, a favorite of many League staff. You will find yourself meandering through an old-growth redwood forest as we make our way down toward Gold Bluffs Beach and the magnificent Fern Canyon, where we’ll see sheer vertical walls lined with ferns. With luck, we may even come across a herd of Roosevelt elk grazing near Gold Bluffs Beach.
