Videos, Films Support State Parks Facing Closure

Keep up on the effort to save nearly 70 California State Parks, including redwood parks, from closure by watching these recently created videos and movies. Forward them to friends: public service announcements by our partner, California State Parks Foundation; The First 70, a short film about Californians uniting to develop solutions to the parks crisis; and California Forever, The Story of California State Parks, a documentary celebrating California’s state parks, showing at select events.

Next Steps for Redwoods as Parks Closures Loom

As you may know, more than a dozen redwood state parks are to close this summer because of devastating government budget cuts. Most of these extraordinary places were protected with the support of generations of Save the Redwoods League members. We are working on ways to continue to secure these forests.
