All aboard the Skunk Train on Sunday, October 22! We look forward to seeing our Redwood Leadership Circle and Redwood Legacy Circle members for a fun-filled ride through Mendocino’s stunning Noyo River Redwoods forest, which our members helped protect in 2011. If you have questions about your membership, or you would like to learn more, please contact us at 415-820-5800.
Thanks to all who joined us last night for a conifer-inspired dinner party at Lazy Bear restaurant in San Francisco. The event, generously supported by Dodge & Cox, benefited the League’s education programs, which bring more than 7,000 young people to the redwood forest annually.
Congratulations to Muir Woods National Monument on its 110th anniversary January 9! This magnificent place near San Francisco is often where visitors from California and throughout the world see the coast redwood forest for the first time. Over a million tourists from across the globe stream into this treasured forest for a walk among its breathtaking redwoods each year. As you may have heard, starting on January 16, parking and shuttle reservations will be required.
