New exhibit commemorates ancient fallen ‘tunnel tree’
onSave the Redwoods League, California State Parks, and Calaveras Big Trees Association opened the Pioneer’s Cabin Tree interpretive exhibit in the North Grove last July after storms toppled the tree in 2017.
