Vote #YesOn68 and Tell a Friend

You may have heard that Save the Redwoods League is celebrating its Centennial this year. While one hundred years may seem like a mighty long time, it’s but a blip in the life of a redwood tree. These ancient giants have endured a lot over the years, and today redwoods are facing some of their most significant challenges yet, including the impacts of climate change and severe droughts. So, what can you do today to protect California’s iconic redwood forests for future generations?

VOTE #YESON68

Save the Redwoods League supports Proposition 68, the Clean Water and Safe Parks Act, because this measure will provide the investments we need to help keep California’s redwoods resilient and accessible to everyone. Prop 68 provides critical funding to help advance projects like Redwoods Rising, a new collaboration between the League, the National Park Service, and California State Parks that will heal the young, historically logged forests within Redwood National and State Parks.

Over the last century, Save the Redwoods League has protected more than 200,000 acres of coast redwood and giant sequoia forests, helped to create dozens of redwood parks, and connected millions of people to the redwood forest. As we look to the next 100 years, the League is focused on preserving these globally significant forests—and the transformative redwood moments they inspire—for generations to come. By protecting and restoring the younger redwood forests of today, we can create the majestic old-growth forests of tomorrow. But it takes all of us, and we need your help to ensure redwoods are forever and for everyone!

Please vote “yes” on Prop 68 on June 5 or on your mail-in ballot, and help us spread the word.

Thank you for all you do for California’s redwoods.
