Webinar: Redwoods Rising — rebuilding California’s iconic forests

Thanks for joining us live on our Facebook Page on Friday, March 12, as we explored Redwoods Rising—a partnership of Save the Redwoods League, the National Park Service, and California State Parks to restore this forest now protected within Redwood National and State Parks.

If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can still watch the recording here:

Becky Bremser, the League’s Director of Land Protection, and Richard Campbell, the League’s Director of Restoration and one of the key strategists behind Redwoods Rising, discussed the groundbreaking work taking place in the forest.

Campbell talked about the importance of California’s redwoods and described how Redwoods Rising is building the ancient forests of the future. At a time when so much is uncertain in the world, the project is an inspiring example of the lasting impact people can have when they work together.
