More Pacific fishers at Red Hill

It’s great to see the wildlife turning up on our webcams there

As part of our ongoing effort to document the wildlife at our Red Hill property in the Sierra, our team has installed a number of remote cameras that detect movement and snap photos. And we were delighted this week to get these photos of the elusive Pacific fisher. All the photos below were captured by Joe Medley with Colibri Ecological Consulting. A more detailed discussion of the Pacific fisher, and our work at Red Hill, can be found on this post from January. That was the first time we saw these wonderful creatures there.

Very up-close photo of a black bear.
Apparently, a mischievous black bear couldn’t help but mess with the trail camera.
