Hike Series Welcomes Members Back to Forests

Save the Redwoods League was pleased to welcome dozens of members of the Redwood Leadership Circle, Canopy Club, and Redwood Legacy Circle back into coast redwood and giant sequoia forests in 2021.

Throughout the Redwood Hike Series, we visited some of our favorite redwood and giant sequoia sites with League and California State Parks redwoods experts. Participants learned about fire and public access planning at the League’s Peters Creek property in the Santa Cruz Mountains and Alder Creek giant sequoia property. Our education programs were the topic at Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park in Oakland. At the Grove of Titans in Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, members learned about the new elevated walkway’s construction and Redwoods Rising. We look forward to offering special redwoods adventures in 2022.
